Five minutes southwest is one of the best stretches of sandy beach in the Costa del Sol. Swimming in the sea is both safe and easy, as the beach has a gentle slope. The beach nearby offers sunbeds and water sports.

On the days when the children have had enough of the beach or the swimming pools, then there are many other local activities for them. These include water parks, an aquarium, a wild animal safari park at Selwo Park and a zoo, boat trips to see the dolphins, water sports, and Tivoli World with its fun-fair and stage shows.

For the speed freaks, there is Go-Karting available at Funny Beach, along the N340 towards Marbella, near the East Marbella Arch. The circuit is open from 10am to Midnight. Look out for the giant Coca Cola can!

Jet skis can be hired at Marbella Watersports on Mistral Beach, Puerto Banus, just 5 minutes away by car from El Campanario. They also offer jet boat rides and parasailing. There is no need to book but you can contact Jason & Nikki on +34 662 160 670.

If you can't survive long without getting online, then there are Internet Cafes available locally, including Puerto Banus.
