The Costa del Sol is known as the 'Costa del Golf' for a very good reason! There are over 40 in the Costa del Sol, most of which have full championship status, including the world famous Valderrama course at Sotogrande. El Campanario  lies  between the golf courses of Atalaya and El Paraiso.  Nearby are the courses at Montemayor, Los Arqueros, La Quinta and Las Brisas, and Valderrama is only 20 minutes away. Costa del Sol based professionals include Miguel Angel Jimenez and Per-Ulrik Johansson.

The resort does have its own 9 hole Par 3 Golf Course, and this is open to non residents on Sundays from 1.00pm to sunset for 30 Euros.
